I’ve recently started working with one of my favorite photographers in Austin (Jody Horton) as his assistant which means Im super excited but all have a little less time to work on my own images/blog/website. I will gladly take this trade-off to be working alongside such a talented and successful photographer.

Its been a few weeks but I wanted to get back to blogging some more images from the van trip out west. At this point in the trip we were in Southern Utah at Lake Powell and met another couple who were traveling in their van and suggest visiting La Jolla. We weren’t sure if we were going to make it all the way out to California at this point but talking to the other couple about how much they loved La Jolla solidified the idea of making it out the Pacific Coast. Im glad we did, we got to hang out with a bunch of seals and wander around little tide pools finding all sorts of weird little creatures.
